Emma our Schnauzer came from the local shelter, she was picked up running down the road at 9 pm at night. She was rescued and taken there by Angela, a good Samaritan. Angela then found out the shelter she took her to would euthanize her after 5 days if not claimed. Angela desperately tried to find a place for Emma.
Emma was in horrible condition, she was matted and had major dental problems. Angela took Emma to the groomer and got her all cleaned up before bringing her to us.
The Old Dog House took Emma on July 7th 2012. Shortly after that she had 14 teeth pulled. Emma was under the weather for a day or so after her dental procedure and then never looked back.
Emma’s est. DOB is 1999. She is one of the most disciplined dogs here. She won’t get on the couch unless asked. She will not go in or out a door without you saying OK and she is a Schnauzer that does not bark. Emma has settled in very well here and is a delight to be around.
