Jethro is an early generation Bengal cat who was surrendered to a rescue when his owner decided he no longer fit his lifestyle.
Sadly, at 7 years old Jethro was uprooted from the only life he knew.
He was slow to acclimate to the changes and they feared he was not a good candidate for adoption.
After a few months in rescue, Jethro was brought to Indigo Mountain for permanent sanctuary.
We found him to be fearful, shy and reclusive upon arrival.
We gave him the time he needed to settle into his new life and the environment needed to feel safe and secure and slowly Jethro learned to build trusting relationships with other Bengal cats in the colony and with his caregivers.
Today, Jethro loves to play with interactive toys, rub on boots and occasionally will crawl in someone’s lap for attention and a good ear rub.
